Bev Jackson is a British activist and writer who co-founded the LGB Alliance in 2019, focusing on the rights and concerns of lesbian, gay, and bisexual people. A trailblazer in activism, she was the only woman at the first UK Gay Liberation Front meeting in 1970.
Join us as Bev discusses the first declaration, "Sex is Real", and explores the harms caused when children are told they can change their sex. Drawing from decades of activism and lobbying experience, Bev will address her profound concerns about the inherent misogyny and homophobia embedded in gender identity affirmation and its attempts to eradicate same-sex orientation.
