On Saturday 3 October, former Deputy Leader Shahrar Ali is hosting Green Party Futures: A Day of Open Discussion at the Hilton Brighton Metropole. He has invited Green Women's Declaration to lead the final session of the day.
16.30–18.00: Exiled for Speaking Up: Women, Sex and the Green Party
In this session we'll talk about what has happened to women in the Green Party who spoke up for sex-based rights, where things stand now, and what comes next. It is also a chance to meet us, ask questions and talk openly.
The day runs from 10.00am to 6.00pm, and you can book onto as many sessions as you like:
10.00–11.30: Unlawful Belief Discrimination
12.00–13.30: Antisemitism and Islamism (open to Muslims and non-Muslims)
14.30–16.00: Eco-populism and Climate Emergency
16.30–18.00: Exiled for Speaking Up: Women, Sex and the Green Party (led by GWD)

Practical details
Attendance is free. New members are especially welcome.
Places are limited, and registration closes at 3.00pm on Friday 2 October.
Please arrive at reception a few minutes before your session. Someone will meet you there and take you to the seminar room.
All sessions are held under the Chatham House Rule, so everyone can speak freely.
Right of admission is reserved. This is not an official Green Party event or part of the official fringe.
